10 Year Anniversary

On May 15th my wife and I will celebrate our ten year anniversary. I did not realize on May 15, 2004 how blessed of a man I was. I had an idea—but at the same time I had no idea of the wonderful woman that I was marrying. I am grateful that the Lord has blessed me with such a treasure.

On Saturday evening we are having a vow renewal at the First Baptist Church of Jasper, IN. I’m honored to renew my vows. And she’ll walk down the aisle with our adorable daughter as I stand beside our precious son. I’m very blessed.

On Sunday morning we’ll be headed to Branson, Missouri. This is where we had our honeymoon. A couple in our church has blessed us with a free stay at a resort in Branson. We will spend the week resting, relaxing, canoeing, and partying like rock stars—very old rock stars that like to stay up late watching Dick Van Dyke.

All of this means that I’m not going to be around on the internets. I might check my email in the mornings to make sure nobody solved the relationship between divine sovereignty and human freedom, but that’s it. But stay tuned here at Borrowed Light.

Nick Horton will be stepping in and keeping up with our Today in Blogworld feature.

We also will have several guest posts that I’m honored to publish. I’m confident that we won’t miss a beat here. When I return I’m giving a week to focusing on The Seeds Project. So if you’ve volunteered to help out by going through the devotions with your kiddos, next week would be a great time turn those comments in to me.

Thanks for reading!
