Day Twenty-Two: That our husbands would remain humble before God and subject to other godly man.
“But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6
The most important thing in a man’s life is his attitude towards God. He is to be always watchful of his heart’s attitude so that pride does not creep in. For this he needs God’s help and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Father, we pray that you will help our husbands to remain humble before you. Please make him aware to watch of any prideful attitude that comes up in his heart. Give them healthy relationships with other godly men with whom he can open up his heart. Give them more grace so that he pleases your heart at all times. In Jesus name we pray.
