There is a ton of talk about reaching the city. Well and good, but that leaves rural ministry feeling as though it’s not worthwhile. This is a welcome, and soft, rebuke.

A story out of Boston of the loving self-sacrifice of a mother for her child. Reminded me of the sacrifice God made for his children.
I love hearing stories of folks who visit Compassion Child Development Centers. The singing in the video was an added bonus.
Skip The Verse, Memorize The Book
Joe Carter interviews Andy Davis on his approach to memorizing scripture. He has committed 35 (!!) books of the Bible to memory over the course of his ministry. He provides a compelling argument to leave verse memorization behind and go after chapters and books.
This guy (works for dreamworks) took video of his kid and enhanced it so that it fit with his son’s imagination. Pretty cool.
